OrangeCon returns Sunday, October 11, 2026, presented by IPMS Orange County as the IPMS USA Region 8 Model Contest & Vendor Fair — and for the first time, also serving as an AMPS Regional Meet. Join Southern California’s largest exhibit of scale models at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 7000 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620 (immediately off the 91 Fwy at Beach Blvd). This year’s theme is “American Spirit,” celebrating 250 years of independence — all categories are welcome to join in on the fun.
The show is open to the public from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (vendor set-up 7:00-9:00 AM, vendor room open until 2:30 PM, model registration 9:00-11:30 AM, contest judging Noon-3:00 PM, awards 3:30-5:00 PM). Spectator admission is $7; contest admission (adults and ages 13-17, includes first 2 models) is $10, with additional models $1 each; contestants under 12 are free. All categories are awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place per IPMS rules, with special thanks to AMPS and SoCal AMPS for co-sponsorship, judging support, and armor category medallion awards.
