I have been crazy about miniatures since walking into my first hobby store in the 1970s. I will paint just about anything from dragons to dragoons.
Professionally, I spent my formative years as a stage actor after graduating from the Yale School of Drama (and still do a little Shakespearean coaching on the side). Then I spent more than 20 years in new media development. The highlights include managing museum projects for Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gate Foundation, University of California, The Museum of Pop Culture and others.
I’m currently a PhD candidate at Claremont Graduate University where I also serve as the Executive Director of The Peter Drucker House Museum. My work has been published in academic journals, including the Journal of Film and Video, the Journal of Graphic Novels and Comics, and The Public Historian.
My lovely wife Kricket and son Dashiell have patiently supported my “Fantastic Fantasy Factory” that churns out an ever-expanding collection.
